Glad to hear Ouran was licensed by FUNi. I look forward to some wonderful packaging.

Surprised there aren't more posts about what wasn't licensed as opposed to what was. Razz

YES! I have been waiting all year for Ouran to be announced. I can't wait. This is one anime series where I would consider buying the "super extra special edition" DVDs too, if they put some out.

Completely understand what your talking about there, that Artbox (if you could it that) was gorgeous. The damn thing had hinges and everything, and not only that it just didn't feel cheap when you felt it.

YES! Anime hyper This annoucement makes me extremely happy! I can't wait to finally get this one into my own hands. The first episode alone had me practically on the floor with laughter. (It was those light bulbs. Classic.) Mr. Green

With Funimation, I have zero worries about the quality of the release.

Plus, no more "where's Ouran?" posts! (Seriously, that was getting really annoying. Now the "where's Monster?" ones will start to grate the old nerves.)

So far nothing else catches my fancy, but this is a darn good annoucement and very overdue. Where they stuck in bidding all this time or what?

I think it was almost well known Funimation had it considering Bandai and Viz said they didn't have it and I knew this just wasn't an ADV title and no way was Geneon going to license it so yeah. I'll probably buy it, despite being a guy.
