| Personally I don’t find her annoying at all; in fact her desperation makes her quit charming. As for the big surprise at the end of the manga, to me, it felt like a cheap way to add some tension to the book without having to really try to be original. There have been three volumes released so far, and this one was my least favorite by far. I hope this does not set the tone for the rest of the manga. |

Somehow I missed this review. I need to go pick this up soon, since I think this is the volume in which the differences between the manga and the anime start to become more apparent.
As for Namiko-sensei, I don't find her annoying at all. In fact, she's one of my favorite side characters in this series. I love how over-the-top desperate she is, and how she is always saying how she hasn't had a boyfriend for 30-some-odd years. |

I love Namiko-sensei, she is so funny, but so sincere, very entertaining character!
I liked the twist at the end, it did add tension, abeit the explination did feel a bit contrived. But you have to say the story needed a new focus especially after the Tomari, Yasuna truce. Now, I am anxious to read the next volume. |
