Distinctively Shinkai's work, despite being a few seconds long. Now I want to own that ADV Shinkai collection .
But how...does this advertise a newspaper? |

Wow, that was defintally one of the most beautiful 15 segments of animation I've ever seen.
The fact that he was able to instill such a sense of melancholy in such a sort time frame just goes to show what an amazing artist he is. |

I don't think it's suposed to be sad or depressing necessarily...
Dad rides train = lowering fuel emissions = saving the environment = protecting his children's future, thus his daughter says "Arigatou" to him for riding the train. I could imagine a live action commercial like this in North America. |
