Aw, Negi is really cute! You can kind tell he's a girl, but it's not THAT bad, I think, he looks like a really really cute boy.

I don't like Negima, but I think I'll watch this.

It is tempting to call this Negi Potter and it does have high cheesiness factor. You have to remember this isn't going to have the high-production costs of Harry Potter. This is meant for TV. If this was shown on the big screen then I would be Rolling Eyes

Silly Japanese TV. They need a budget comparable to US Network TV. However, this seems to be a large improvement compared to Sailor Moon. Laughing

Now, the one playing Takahata -- he resembles very close to the "real" thing.

He actually looked pretty good. Everyone else was only recognizable by their accessories (oh, she's got a gun, that's Mana).

The show itself looks bad. Possibly amusingly bad, but its hard to say. Might be worth watching in a B-movie sort of way.
