This is ACTUALLY FUNNY The dialogue and animation is easily a good laugh. I wouldnt buy it, of course, but after seeing a bit of it, i'd probably watch it just for the pure hilarity of it all. |

Once again, Justin, you bring us an article about garbage that freshens up our day.
I distinctly remember seeing these types of ads in old NewType magazines back in the heyday. I agree with the sentiments of the others here: knock-off. Just plain knock-off.
And unlike Garzey's Wing, which had a dub "so bad it was good" to get people buying for pure comedy, the Chinamation here just looks so bad it is bad. Bird Island and Way of the Warrior looks like something any amateur animator can replicate on Flash. Little Monk and Mighty Bunch actually has some real fluid animation but the character designs look terribly unappealing.
Since I haven't watched any of these shows in full, I can't provide any more specific details like I did with Garzey's Wing. But, it is safe to assume that this is one batch of shows that us anime folk here don't want to see again...ever.
Oh, and here is something for you: At 5:17-5:20 in the highlights clip, the fat dude in DeCheng sounds like a gungan.
One last thing: does anyone think from that clip in Bird Island, Tin looks kinda like Trunks and Kid resembles Lupin III? From that screengrab, it looks like Lupin III is talking smack to Trunks. |

| I seem to recall seeing advertisments for this crap a few years ago in a couple of my monthly comic books. I never thought it looked that good, apparently I was right. |

| Thank you so much for bringing us this brilliantly awful piece of Chinese Animation. Your splendor honors my grateful soul and I will be forever appreciative of you unparalleled kindness. May I meet thy grace again in the future to toast to thee. |

| Okay, so Chinamation is to Chinese animation as to what the stuff Digiview Entertainmen picks up from Korea and sells for a dollar at Walmart is to Korean animation. |

Words cannot describe my feelings about this.
Kudos on the Thank You/Compliment tab on the Way of the Warrior segment! |

Those are some interesting action scenes indeed. I have seen Flash animation more impressive than that. Is it normal to feel embarassed watching something like this? |

Maybe... I'm still missing a few from the last batch, as there are no Walmarts in NYC and by the time I got my parents to look for them in Detroit they had stopped selling 'em. The thing is, most of those are so bad that they stop being funny and start being outright painful. |

I couldn't agree more. I nearly shit my pants laughing at Garzey's Wing yesterday. This made me want to cry. Well, most of it did. Bird Island looks like it would be a tremendously hilarious pile of garbage.
Mighty Bunch looks like a tremendous turd of animated failure if I may say so as well. It looked so bad it's not even funny. It scares me to know that there are things that can actually take a formula for gold such as very low quality animation with an inhumanly bad dub and actually only come up with terrible animation and an inhumanly bad dub. |

While this was funny, I liked the one on Garzey's Wing better. I think you should focus on anime as much as possible, although diversions like this, the Anno documentary, and the Korean animated film are good too. |

just a few minutes ago i was watching "the haunting" (original) and became both scared and impressed in a good way...... this made me scarred and unimpressed in a negative way which the current human mind is uncapable of expressing in words. It should be burned to the ground and have the ground covered in salt |

| This really made me want to cry. I recall seeing the ads as well. Thanks for the garbage this week; the review of Garzey's Wing was hilarious last time, and this is just so bad it's sad and yet somehow amusing to watch the highlights from. |
