For those who are looking for something a bit more 'familiar' but still falls very much in to this horrible vein of quality, you'd do well to check out a series called "Gundoh Musashi".

Surely proof that the Japanese are left playing catch-up with the might that is Chinamation!

Oh no! It's sweeping their nation too!

Like everyone said, I'm going to check out these shows mainly for the laughs, especially Bird Island and Dacheng. The dialogue in Bird Island is just so random. Also, I liked that scene in Dacheng: the henchman is so incompetent. He's been given orders to stop that guy but he ends up throwing a rock at his comrade's face. Laughing

I'm still laughing. If I were a villain, I'd be extremely pissed if I had henchmens that were so damn stupid that they couldn't even follow simple orders let alone think logically what they're supposed to do.

Fortunately such efforts do not represent Chinese animation as a whole, just as Pokemon and the many trash cartoons do not represent Japanese and American animation

Some short animated films from the legendary Shanghai Studio I had the chance to watch were pure poesy.

Recently the movie "Warrior" was produced to mark the studio's 50th anniversary.

Is it really that bad? I'd rather listen to a Nutech porno hentai dub than this ugly dog.

(Watches clip.) I was wrong! It's not bad, IT'S ATROCIOUS!!!!!!!
