I'm going! I'm a little skeptical, and... what the heck is "live-action anime?" I'm sure it will be interesting though. (Oh crud, it's today, isn't it.)

A certain professor used to subject his students to LSD. Just because a professor does it, doesn't make it right.
I haven't been to MIT's anime club in eons. Yet I'm morbidly curious about this.
Personally, I got a feeling it's going to be a rather goofy stage play. You really can't do cyberpunk action with a college stage budget. There's a reason why these things get animated. You know, why anime means animation and not live action.
Actually, I'd rather see Battle Angel Alita: The Musical. C'mon, Desty Nova's flan song alone... |

If he's who I think he is, this professor came to my university a few years ago and did a presentation on the fansub community and Samurai Champloo.
I'm interested to hear how it turns out. |

That is definitely true; just because someone is a professional does not mean they are automatically making right decisions. Just like presidents of R1 anime companies!
Oh, this event isn't exactly tied to MIT anime club though. |
