That man was definitely demented! If he needs money badly..why steal manga volumes? I mean, he should have stolen money so there won't be a need for him to sell those manga volumes in a bookstore. He should have just robbed a bank or something. I'm definitely not tolerating that man, what I'm trying to say is that he should have thought of his plan more carefully beforehand.

So instead of robbing a book store you suggest robbing a bank? So you think robbing a bank would be easier? n A bank with security cameras and possibly guards (maybe armed depending on the bank's size) and not to mention the difference between theft (even on a federal level which over $500 it is here in America) or ARMED ROBBERY of a bank. Not to mention the likelihood of being caught during a bank robbery as opposed to a book store. Or the almost guaranteed amount of extra public media attention from robbing a bank. Yea that would have been a lot easier and a better idea. Rolling Eyes

Let's give the guy some credit. It's possible he achieved in getting an oversized bag with the store logo on it. stuffed it completely at the second story of the under staff store and somehow accompplished to get out unspotted, there's also a possibity of an accomplice/employee but I doubt it. if It happen once it could happen again so he went the next day to the exact same store and...

Not to offend but I the age of the not-so-genius thief was available we could see his way of thinking.

That is not a cultural question. That is a how are the store employees so damn blind to allow that. I don't care where you are or what country your store is in it's a universal principle to not want your stuff to be stolen. That's bad for business no matter where you are.

Well I dunno, perhaps Japanese store are completely different from US Stores. Virtually every store I've gone to in the city has at least 1 or more security cameras trained on you. Even at the Seamstress and Luggage repair shops!!

It was because of your way of speech. Everyone makes mistakes, but instead of making fun of yourself e.g. "silly me," "gawd I goofed this time," "oops" or using Embarassed emoticon, you wrote it as if (in my eyes) kept saying "that's my reasoning and you HAVE to understand and forgive me."

Thats all I was trying to say. I guess I must not have expressed it clearly enough. I figured that it would have been clear when I wrote, "Obviously I was mistaken *sweatdrop*". But oh well, it's not a big deal.

Let's not forget people, if you've borrowed from loan sharks in Japan, they're not going to be nice to you when they want their money back: they will harass you, come inside your home, your work, everything until they get their money back. It's possible he might have borrowed from the wrong people.
