Is anyone else excited about this? I am.
Has anyone heard any rumblings on whether ADV or Manga is looking at this??? Hopefully for quick release. probably not, but I wanted to ask anyway.
Also, and I think I already know the answer to this, which would be no, but just to make sure. Harmony Gold doesn't have any sort of "retrospective say" in how this would be handled in the NA market do they? I wouldn't think they would, but sometimes their contracts seem to be lengthy and confusing(so do Japans for that matter). And this is supposed to be a direct sequel. |

| I'm excited, but I haven't heard anything about anyone wanting to license it. Given, Macross may be a sticky issue with Harmony Gold and all, but it would be nice to see companies license and release stuff quicker. |

Macross is a classic. Gundam is a classic.
But when are they going to stop releasing new series of them??? Not saying all the new series are rubbish, but try something new please~ |

Oh c'mon you really trying to say there is an overexposure of Macross?
3 tv series (including Frontier), 2 ovas & 1 movie (which is a reworked version of the first tv series) in 25 years is not overexposure. |

| I agree. Macross is no Gundam when it comes to volume, span, and variant forms. Even better is its continuity. No alternate universe stuff that are Wing and Seed. That said, I would love to have a faithful retelling, not a loose or alternate one, of the original Macross series, with all that Satellite can do and this time having Kanno's score. |
