If this is licensed by Right Stuf then why is it showing on ADV's The Anime Network VOD. They are up to episode 8.

Because ADV paid TRSI for the right to show their properties on Anime Network.

I'm going to buy the complete collection when I get the money. I'm glad I checked it out on IGN though, it only reconfirms to me that I have to get the show soon. I only have enough money for one thing for myself this Christmas, and I really want Naruto Shippuden Accel 2 for the PS2 so this will have to wait until early next year. I'm really lacking in comedy and light hearted anime.

Tossing in a quick two cents, this is a very solid little comedy number, and well worth a pick up for anyone looking to slate their humor jones.

Has a rollicking, sly 'old-school' feel to it, manages to push out a lot of frenetic, off-beat humor without wearing out it's welcome-aided by being broken down into shorter segments which keeps things fresh. It's no Python or Kids in the Hall, but in terms of anime comedies punches at a very respectable weight. No inexplicable 'suddenly serious' ending, no lanky, spiky-hair-covering-one-eye anti-social goof brooding around, no teen drama gunk- just ninja-parody hijinks straight through (As a bonus for younger generation fans that can be kind of 'prudish' about things, the show manages a lot of cheeky humor without ever piling on much (if any) in the way of explicit/graphic fanservice.)
