Saw the trailer this morning. Oh man this looks good!

I may have to break down and go see this. And 'John Goodman' looks good as 'Pops Racer'.

I wonder if the original voices will have a cameo appearance?

The bright colors and 'whoosh!' lines look like they could induce motion sickness. They may be a bit too much for me.

It really does look wonderful. I like how Wachowskis were able to create their own world and it look visionary. I think that they chose a correct approach for this material and you can count me interested.

This is what the "Fast the the Furious" series should have been!

You're on with virtual fake moolah! I may be one of the few freaks who have been excited about the project since it was announced, but more and more people are hearing about it, and the hype is building. It'll probably be the biggest blockbuster of the summer. You have all the Nascar red necks bein pulled in, along with the people who remember the show, you have the boyfriends looking for a movie their girlfriends can put up with, it's family friendly enough for some of the kiddies, you have all the people who thought the Matrix was the best movie ever, you have fans of the all star cast (Emile Hirsch is one of the top "hot young guys of holly wood, so he may bring in a ton of teen girls alone), and then you have the random people who will see about anything in a theater. I'm betting this will make more money than Prince Caspian, the other expected blockbuster this summer it'll be competing with. I think they have a winner already.

The trailer looks bloody FANTASTIC. Laughing

If you don't like things being cartoonish and unrealistic, what the heck are you doing watching anime? Anime hyper

Personally, I think it looks awesome. I'm getting so bored with the way movies are done these days. They all start to blend together after a while. I'm ready for something fresh.

And I'm willing to forgive some cheesiness. That's part of what makes it Speed Racer.

Looks pretty sweet. I expect this to turn out like Transformers did though. Great action, CG and music to go along with a throwaway plot, characters, and dialogue. As long as said negative elements aren't as nearly atrocious as they were in Transformers, Speed Racer will have a very high entertainment value and I'll be happy. Smile
