If this film comes to your town, see it. Buy it on dvd. This would be a movie I think I would even pay BVUSA prices. Well, actually no, I would never do that. But they don't have it, so buy it.

What will be the official English title for the North American market? I'm kinda annoyed seeing conflicting information.

"The Girl Who Leapt through Time" has always been the official English title for the movie, I thought. Kadokawa USA lists it on their site as such, and the trailer posted by Kadokawa/Bandai today also has it like that.

halo: It shouldn't be about getting the cheapest price, but about supporting an anime production which doesn't pander to the lowest common denominator.

Giving that Bandai Entertainment announcement and Kadokawa Pictures USA should have more authority over CMX on this matter, I'm changing it back.

This announcement makes me so happy! I've been waiting for this ever since I saw it in the theatre! Now, I can finally own this movie on DVD.

YES!! YES! YES!!! HELL YEAH!!! FINALLY!!

[*pumps fist triumphantly while screaming with passion almost punching someone out]

This is such great news to me. Now I can finally sit down in front of a TV and while sharing it with a friend!

I am so glad it's coming over. And since it will be airing in NY I'll try and get this one requested for out collection.

I hope they show it in S.F., I really enjoyed this movie and I would love to watch it on the big screen.

It played in S.F. March 17 at the Castro Theatre as part of the Asian American Film Festival.

Nice. It wasn't what I was expecting them to announce. I've heard great things about this and it looks interesting. I'll definitely get this.

Sweet! This is such a great film!
Thanks Bandai Ent and Kadokawa Pix!
It's nice to see high quality films being released over here, instead of the same old same old.

I wonder if there is a chance that this will be dubbed?

I don't always side on dubs, but a strong dub by the right studio would REALLY make this a big hit for those who may otherwise not see it...

Love this movie! I saw it earlier this year when I was visiting Japan.

And yeah, I could see this being dubbed.
Ocean would definitely be my first choice to breathe english into the characters.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this on the big screen, for sure.

Thank you Bandai and Kadokawa!

Yeah. If there is going to be any dub, I think Ocean would do a great job.
