wow, that has to be one of the funniest things I have read all day. To think that things like that don't fly, but fansubs do...

wow... I mean it was just a music video that used similar setting & stuff, they didn't even directly rip off FF VII like an AMV or something, I don't see why square did this or what they had to gain from it. Well they just lost some respect, but they have been going downhill for the last few years anyways, especially when they started milking FF VII, I think that is over now though. Wasn't there some movie cloth company that made some FF VII outfits mentioned here a while ago, They better watch out to.

I wouldnt say 80%, more like 40%, but yeah it was bringing to life one segment of the FF stuff completely, so yeah it was plagurizing it totally.

Why they dont go after the fan done videos is that the fan done stuff isnt SOLD anywhere in major stores, so there is no profitability to go after - usually a limiting factor in most countries.

OH GAWD! This is funny.

Considering this fan video I would have thought this was acceptable. But damn.

LOL. That seriously made me laugh. XD I can't believe they didn't think someone would notice, considering how popular the title is.

The song isn't my cup of tea, but the video is an excellent tribute to the fight scene. Does Korea not have a copyright loophole for parody?

Whoa. Kinda weird to see real people carrying out physics-defying anime stunts. Wish they'd done the Cloud-tossing scene. Very Happy

Can anyone read the text in the video at 00:36? It clearly says something about FF7:AC.

I believe it says, "The action scenes in this film is a recreation of FINAL FANTASY VII: ADVENT CHILDREN."

Yep, and that appears to be the problem.

It's odd that Square Enix sued for it, though. That video was posted on March 11th, so the disclaimer may have always been there.
