YES! As a Grocery Janitor myself, this comic tickled me, although I don't quite get where the sawdust covering vomit comes from. REAL skill involves cleaning it all up leaving no trace of it so that (in my case) customers don't track it leaving any black marks. |

At this point I can't decide what I find more humor in, the comic or some of the one-liners in this thread.
...and I just can't help but play along. 
I can't believe they're going to show this on Toonami! It'll totally be ruined when they make five gazillion edits! Plus dubs suck! I won't buy the DVDs because the dubs are on it! Plus, the fansubs I downloaded are way better because they swear! Now when I go to school I'm going to see some lame 12 year olds wearing Daisuke t-shirts from hottopic, stupid posers!* *Sadly, I didn't invent most of this rabid fan ranting. I've seen these kinds of comments every time a shonen anime is broadcast on CN. Great job on the comic, Robin. |

Well, if you can imagine it, you can make it into a shonen action series. This comic really hammers that point home. Brilliant.
Unfortunately, I can easily imagine a series like this existing in real life. I find myself simultaneously amazed and horrified by that possibility.

Can we put UMD-DX in the Encyclopedia next to Cookie-san no Newsroom, pleeeeeeease? Great comic and great parody. This is like one of those times when a show within a show takes on a life of its own, I want to see more UMD-DX! Though, isn't the way everyone's reacting to UMD-DX a testimony in itself to how easy it is to make popular shonen series?
