TRSI doesn't give their standard preorder price for Sony/Columbia titles. Last year I ended up buying both Paprika and Tekkon BR DVDs from amazon. TRSI also doesn't usually carry these discs in stock so all inventory (like the current promotion doesn't work). Sony titles were also excluded in the recent 30% off almost everything sale. I think many of the Sony titles like Tokyo Godfathers and Memories are 35% off at amazon's current anime sale. |

5 Episodes = $25
5 * 5 = 25
25 * 5 = $125.
Seems cheaper to me.
I'll probably pick this up. There's no reason that a box coming out the same time as the singles should be discounted so much. You're just getting the series faster. Great move, but who knows how many copies they'll move. |

| Any idea how the box is laid out, as in is it single volumes in a box, or a fold-out styled box? |

Was Super Gals season 2 also a box set exclusive?

It's funny that I mentioned this because on TRSI's anime today podcast they mentioned this during an interview with AnimeonDVD's Chris Beveridge. It is a neat interview which goes over the increasing number of experimental packaging and sub only releases. |

This got me thinking. Do you think they will even release all of the single volumes of Blood+. Maybe they are just releasing the first one so people can buy it or rent it to find out if they want to spend the extra money to buy the box. |

eloya: They won't release 009, unless it suddenly makes big bucks.
Dargon: Unless it does horribly, I doubt it. |
