I don't know if something was changed, but today CloudFlare seems to be working properly. Previously I never resolved a cf-sslXXXx-protected-www.animenewsnetwork.com domain in my tracert, just some random Cloudflare IP in their 108.162.192.0/18 range and loading took forever, but now I do get the ANN protected subdomain with an IP in their 141.101.64.0/18 range. Ping seems to have decreased significantly from 50ms+ down to 5ms as well.

Hopefully that I'm now resolving a completely different CloudFlare IP range than before with ultra-low pings, means this was some sort of DNS/Routing issue that's now been resolved, but I'll keep an eye on it to see if problems resurface. While right now the majority of pages load quickly, I still randomly get multi-second delays loading random pages, some which previously loaded quickly. The ANN front page in particular seems to be plagued more than other pages in triggering that problem, but I assume this is just some sort of side-effect of cached vs non-cached content.

www.animenewsnetwork.com failed with the "Website Offline, No Cached Version Available" error at 23:35 PST - the "live version" link was of no result. Using the "www-d" option did get me through tho.

Currently all three domains are working for me.
Just wanted to add that using the Cloudfire mechanism does appear to have a significant impact on ping times: I get pings around 60 ms for the three domain names but ping times around 220 ms for "skuld.animenewsnetwork.com" resp. "www-d.animenewsnetwork.com" .

I dunno how to check ping times or anything, but I was just on the site for around a half hour, and had the "Website unavailable, no cached version" error 6 times (and some of those I had to click the "live version" link 2-3 times).
I viewed 2 threads directly from the links in articles, 8 forums from the main board page, 3 threads from their link in the forum, 1 second page of a thread, and made 4 posts, totaling 18 page clicks in the forum (the only place I had the problem). Which means I got an error 1/3 of the time.
I had problems last night as well (again, only in the forums), but didn't count. Prior to this, I hadn't gotten the error since the problems the weekend of NYCC.

Well I spoke too soon. Just now I just got the CloudFlare error six times in 5 minutes, but the Retry Live Version link worked each time and there seems to be no irregularity in the tracert.
It's noteworthy that inbound traffic to my IP occasionally usually uses a completely different backbone, so my outbound tracert is only half the picture. My ISP makes use of inbound/outbound from Level3, Telus, and SprintLink backbones.

Edit2: 8:30PM PST it happened again. This time the retry live version didn't work the first time. I then tried loading www-d.animenewsnetwork.com and it loaded fine, and after that my third attempt clicking the retry live link worked.

Once again, this does seem to be some sort of Cogent problem, possibly with their peering with Level3. One timeout and high latency on a couple of their routers.

I got into the site by going to peorth.animenewsnetwork.com. I need to try the urls listed in the earlier posts to see if that works as well (I bookmarked peroth back during one of the big crashes and have been using it for a back up ever since)

Edit1 (~10mins later): the CloudFlare error went away.
Edit2 (+5 mins later): Then it came back, and went away after clicking retry live version
Edit3 (+5 mins later): Then www-d.animenewsnetwork.com was taking multiple seconds to respond, but it did eventually load. Possible cause of CloudFlare thinking the site is unresponsive?
Edit4 (+1 hour later): Everything is now back to normal with server responding instantly and everything loading extremely fast.

No error message. It usually hangs in Transferring data from static.wiki.livedoor.jp… but ping/tracert it works. This forum uses an older version of an software called phpBB 2 and the spoiler feature on posting is accidentally added. And you get an connection timed out error on visiting www1.vecceed.ne.jp. Now all sites load correctly.
오후 2:46 Hangs in Waiting for www.google-analytics.com… And clicking on an link hangs in Connecting to wiki.livedoor.jp…

I just had to switch from fast to fast-d. Unfortunately I'm doing overtime and traceroute doesn't work from here.
I can't access www or fast on .com, .co.uk nor .com.au
Skuld, bel, peorth and urd all work fine directly.
