Nasu is a male... Nasu Kinoko is definitely a name that sounds girlish, but it is his pen-name that is intentionally faking his gender.

That page linked above must be fake.

i think the real person that deserves more attention is the director Ei Aoki.. there's not even a wiki page for him, yet he's directed already two relatively unconventional works by their methods of presentation (as well as reception)-- Ga Rei Zero and now Fate/Zero.
