When it gets popular? It doesn't seem to be, even in Japan. (Unless I count hot-two-girl-action stuff, but that's popular enough.)

In harem anime, there is occasionally implied stuff of lesbianism. My Hime is a yuri title that's had a small amount of success. As did Kashimashi.
