didn't read this large Vol version, but i did read the smaller Volumes.

Honestly the story telling for the anime is a lot more better than the manga, which i hate to admit.

BUT the manga does have it moments. And from the looks of the sales, its doing decent enough that the series might even get the chance to be completed.

All that's left is for Bastard!!! to get a large version as well and hopefully make a comback as well, and i'll be golden.

I always had the feeling that this was just a teaser for the real story that was in the H-doujins.

ah...... Your kidding me right. this is by far NOT a teaser for those fanmade H - Doujins. Just cause it have the same fanservice as Queens Blade & Ikkitousen, doesn't mean its in H-Doujin level.

The story may not be that great but Tenjo Tenge is one of those series that is almost impossible to stop reading. Besides, these big VIZ books are awesome. A must for any manga fan easily.

But how much longer will readers be satisfied with that, while the story flails about in a desperate attempt to be meaningful and coherent?

I'm in this ride until the end, and besides, I've been getting pretty much what I expected to get out of this all along. I refused to buy the CMX versions because of their decision to censor, so now that I'm getting exactly what I asked for, it seems rather silly to complain about it not being a masterpiece. But, did anyone really expect anything more than what this is? It's basically Ikki Tousen, just without the RoTK angle. Admittedly, boobs and fighting aren't enough for everyone, or probably even most people, but from time to time, it's enough for me.

True enough , but i like this series as well as the manga for ikkitousen.

Though what i do hope is that there's a manga version for Queens Blade. That would be a coming off the shelves like crazy for fanservice freaks like myself. Laughing
