Honestly - My opinion is, "What the Hell Bandai!?"

Premiere it at Anime Boston, or Sakuracon - why the hell at NYCC?? Last I heard, anime and manga are still in a little corner that nobody cares about at NYCC.

I'm all for getting your shows out to more people, but at least premiere the shows at an ANIME convention!

Given that Anime Boston and Sakura-Con are this month, while NYCC is next month, it may be a matter of timing. Bandai Entertainment can't premiere a series before it's ready. A look at the list of April cons sugggests that NYCC will have the biggest gathering of anime fans in April, even if the anime fans happen to be part of a bigger gathering of fans.

A lot has changed for NYCC since last you heard, with anime and manga no longer a little corner and with many people caring about them. T.M.Revolution seems to think so. It's funny that the Japanese newspapers that reported on T.M.Revolution's guest appearance called NYCC an "anime convention."

That's all good...but I want to know when the first DVD of Geass will be released. I hope this isn't like Eureka Seven. The CN broadcast finished ages ago it feels and now they are just getting around to releasing the last DVD in April.
