No, it goes like this in the Clannad original game:

Part 1- School Arc- 5 routes for each of the main girls plus some side routes.

Part 2- After you complete all of the stories in the school arc the After Story is unlocked, which continues Nagisa's route from the School Arc.

Tomoyo After is a completely separate game (which does have sex in it unlike Clannad) which takes place after the events of Tomoyo's arc in Clannad.

Before the anime aired, the director said he wanted to animate the whole of the Clannad story, which means After Story because that's where all the themes really come into fruition. So it is really no surprise that they are continuing.

By today Clannad's first series is over but im just curious when the OVA actually comes out to the General Public? Along with that I'm also curious if the whole series will end up ending in the same way just like their movie did? And if your hating on Clannad you know your not forced to watch it.

The OVA will be on the last volume of the DVD, but I don't know when that will be out.

It looks like the DVD schedule at http://www.tbs.co.jp/clannad/01news/news.html lists 7/16 as the release date of DVD 8.

Japan. The show isn't licensed yet, so there's no schedule for America.

I ment when the OVA series airs on television not so much the DVD sets, Im broke over 50% of the time.
