| Wow, I can't believe Seirei no Moribito is going to air on Cartoon Network. That anime is amazing! I can't wait to see how they dubbed it in English...well anticipating and fearing. Still, this news is awesome! | |||

| It's good to hear Seirei no Moribito is getting a run on Cartoon Network (on [as] I'd assume...)...I've always wanted to check out this show and I've heard immense praise for it, so I don't think I have anythihg to fear. | |||

| Wow, Guardian of the Sacred Spirit on Cartoon Network....... that really is quite the pleasant surprise. I think this is the first time in a really, really long while that they've taken a chance on something that's not already an automatic shoe-in for mainstream success. Hopefully it does well, because a surprise hit from something that isn't expected to be one is something I think the industry could use right now. Haven't seen the show myself, but I remember last spring it was one of the ones I was going to check out but had too many things to watch at the time. So now I'm looking forward to having the opportunity to see it! should be a good one from the sound of it.
Also looking forward to Blue Dragon as well, another one I was going to try out last spring but had too much other stuff. I think we're really looking at quite the Toonami lineup like we've never seen before if Moribito, One Piece, Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden, and Blue Dragon all get on the same lineup! |

| I was gonna get the Shin Chan anime, since the manga had been OOP, but now I'll just get the latter and watch the anime for free on AS. |

| I was interested in seeing Moribito.
For those who have see it, is there enough violence for some to be cut out for the TV broadcast? Not that I mind. |

On Adult Swim? No problems at all. It's not so much that I don't think Toonami could air it based on "content," it's just not the kind of show that really fits in with Toonami's general direction in the last couple years. That said, the original Moribito novels were intended to be "children's literature" and the first of those is being released in the US in June or July, I think. So there might be a push to have it on Toonami around then if that's the target demo they want to go for. It really feels more like an Adult Swim show to me, though. Regardless, even if we don't get any clear cut answers or clarification on where it will be today or over the weekend, we'll probably have a better idea of where Moribito will be airing by the end of next week. Cartoon Network's Upfront is next Thursday, and if Moribito is going to be a Toonami show, I'm positive they will mention it in their presentation. If they don't, that means it's probably headed to Adult Swim. So I'd say we've probably got a week of speculation or less at the most. |

| I"m glad Seirei no Moribito's going to play on Cartoon Network, it's great that this series is getting some attention, i enjoyed it quite a lot.
I hope it will be on Adult Swim, it doesn't seem to fit in with any Toonami shows, and if I were of their target demographic, I would be bored to be honest. Seirei no Moribito is kinda misleading, it's action packed the first few episodes, then it goes mostly into a slice-of-life character development sort of things. I enjoyed it, but many would rather flip the channel to something more exciting. |

| Do you really think Schoolastic is going to release what is described as a children's book if it's tied to an Adult Swim show? I have no doubt Moribito is coming to Toonami.

while it's true that it doesn't fit too well with their usual stuff I think it would do better in the Toonami slot anyway. the only shows that do well on [AS] lately by and large are either shoe ins or low brow comedy it seems (note: this is a generalized statement definitely not a crowd that would appreciate a slower action series and I'm so pleasantly surprised that it's airing, never did finish it but it's definitely a good series |

| I'm thinkin that if it airs on AS, it will replace Death Note in the 12:30 spot. And if it airs on Toonami, it will take over the old One Piece spot, since they are showing reruns of Bakugan in its place now.
But this is great news. I have yet to see the show myself, so I am very excited. |

it may not be the case.I'm preety sure they won't cut naruto to one a week cause it'll be over 2 yrs and a half to finish the filler arc and the entire series so they can go right to shippuden. Probably another effort to combat fansubbers. And as for blue dragon itself, the series is so far ok but not as good as mar or zatch bell unfortunately.Hopefully they put out an UNCUT version for blue dragon with the original OP and ED otherwise fans will be very steamed. |
