So despite all the censoring and the networks practically banning it, the show is still popular enough to come out with more? Ah if only someone over here was brave enough to court controversy. (I think a little controversy would help sales.)

I'm forever surprised that rape, murder, and incest are okay for licensing for R1 but naked little girls are bad. (Well, except for every other series that's already had naked little girls and come out in R1. It's only this series that's gone too far. Rolling Eyes )

I wonder what the cost to license it would even be.

So can someone tell me about Rins family life at home? And why she is the way she is? Was she raped or something? What happened?

Can someone who is following the story pm me the answer to the above or post it here with spoiler tags?

More interested about the psychology of the Japanese to warrant another season. If they want controversy, they can watch Bratz Babies. Laughing

The official Japanese website for the Kodomo no Jikan (Nymphet) anime series has announced that a new series, "Second Term," has been greenlit for production.

I honestly don't think "Second Term" is a part of the official subtitle for the second term/season/whatever. It is just a general term for all sequels.

When you consider the type of society Japan is, and when you take into account what they can call "entertainment" nowadays; I don't know if I should be shocked anymore. I'm about to write that fanbase off as nonhuman.

I mean, a third season of Zero's Familiar. "A kid gets flushed down a toilet..." and we get more shows about him. "Nice Boat, The Anime" continues. And I know that the United States had been at it's most "sick and deprived;" rap music, frat-joke movies, et al.

And then what happens in Africa is a whole new can of worms.

Kodomo no Jikan? No.

I loved the first season of Kodomo no Jikan. But, it's not as bad as some may think. There is some nudity and some strong sexual innuendo. But, this stuff is hidden through out most kids shows and movies here. I wouldn't be amazed if it gets licensed for release here in the next year. Just wish it would happen faster. Another one I want licensed is Boksatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan. So, maybe both will be at the same time. (Note: This is just my dream, probably not going to happen.)

who would license it? I would assume it would be a sub only release, considering there's so much sexual innuendo.

Yeah, the dub is to get the mass casual fans into it, but can you imagine if a casual fan picks it up? Laughing

Yes, welcome to hypocritical corporate America. In my opinion the producers got what they wanted when they censored the TV broadcasts, in a way that was termed overdone on purpose, and look where it got the show. With the difference in cultures here, I don't see it getting licensed, unless somebody pulls something and is really willing to put their reputation on the line.

Ok I am not interested in reading or watching this kind of series because I hate lolis and any kind of fanservice and sex jokes...unless its coming from Family Guy or something.

Please don't delete this post. Thanks.

spoiler[Rin chan, after losing her mother, has developed a mother complex. She has a Male guardian that she lives with too.She also likes to provoke her sensei. This is what people that hate the idea of loli, rave about and Seven Seas couldn't take it.Her Sensei is level headed enough to ignore her.Dispite the title no sex has taken place or ever will in the series.]
Read the manga. It's provocative but it's got a decent story.People love to judge it by the cover(As well as the sick doujinshi counterparts).Dismiss the content, after you've read it.It obviously sold well enough to make a sequel.

Sweet! I can't wait till it get's licensed for R1 DVD's.

Every episode of Sazae-san & Doraemon being dubbed and released R1 has a better chance of being licensed than this.

The "they are really 18!" argument would not be possible at all. In fact, most would scream in terror when they realize someone dropped the 1 from the age of the characters.

Exactly my point as well. I am almost 100% NONE of the girls are even past the age of 7, so I am really discusted that this series is still continuing.

Seriously, isn't there laws against this gene of anime? A good friend of mine told me this series isn't clean at all and is beyond perverese.
