He/she never said that actually, now you are simply putting words in the poster’s mouth. Also, if He/she were saying that then said poster would not have used the Japanese standard for determining what should be left in the Manga. That in itself shows some adherence to a system.

And I agree. I do not get the point of name changes myself. I don't care about them, I just do not think they are needed for the most part.
