Hm, for anime distributor during 2006-07, that'd be ADV, Bandai Ent., Viz Media, Geneon, Manga Ent. and 4Kids, I believe. But yeah, gotta hand it to Funimation. I do believe I've bought more series from Funi, in their entirety, in the last 2 years than from any other company. Way to go.

Funimation seems to have really taken off ever since they formed their relationship with Studio Gonzo. It's good to know that they're doing well even with the current R1 situation.

I couldn't agree more. Just in seeing how they work and in the products they put out, you can tell that for the majority of the company these folks love anime as much as the average otaku.

/some of them make even the most rabid otaku look sane at time with their love for the genre.

Truth be told: Funimation had earned the award by working with common sense and a sort of professionalism; more than most.

These guys over at Funi are along the idea of "anime being AWESOME," not "anime is a substitute for drugs" or "anime make our problems go away since we're miserable people."

Sure. Dragonball, Tenchi, et al had bought them the money. But they have something every other company seems to lack: MOTHER-[Censored] MARKET RESEARCH.

Yeah. Kudoes to 'em. Cool

Contrary to what some people believe, Funimation doesn't suck after all, huh? =P

They were pretty consistent. No riffs, hubbubs, or hiccups from them to cause any major confusion or concerns.

In that aspect, I thought Media Blasters did a pretty awesome job last year, too.

Funimation always seems to hit the right mix of faithfulness to the desires of the fandom and smart business decisions. They're my favorite distributors. Go Funi! Very Happy

So I assume none of Funimation's titles have been fansubbed? Because of course, if they had been, they would not have sold at all, would they?
