Welcome to the future, although I fear what the price will be.

They are priced slightly higher than the DVDs, by maybe 5% or so. So actually not too bad, 7000 yen for 3 episodes (that's MSRP, so you can easily find them for 5500 yen, about $50 a DVD).

You haven't been following the exchange rate, have you. Yen to dollars has been hovering around 100:1 for a long time now, with the yen overtaking the dollar quite a bit Sad

On the contrary, I have the exchange rate displayed as a widget in google sidebar... as I live in japan and earn money in yen Smile. I was just rounding down, considering the exchange rate is now... 102.4550

What I'd like to know is: will it have subtitles and will it be region locked?

Is it Bandai? Their other releases have been region free.

(for anybody in the US, we share the same region as Japan anyway)
