Of course, I don't think I've ever actually heard him as the Totoro, unless Troma mixed in the Japanese roaring sound effects in the Fox Family dub.
I have seen Tampopo, but the last time I saw it was at least a decade ago, so my memory of what the restaurant owner looked like is hazy (yes, I will have a look on Google in a minute).
Still sad, though. |

I wish condolences to Takagi-san's family. I will look at tampopo. I read that it is a funny movie.
