Try DC; 61 volumes, 15 years of manga and still going strong.. |

Not necessarily, there's the boxerIppo who has been fighting in boxing matches since 1989 and 82 volumes to date. This series could also possibly make it past the triple digit volume mark. |

I can fit all 260 volumes of manga I own on my one. Its full now though. I may have to buy another. |

Yeah, because being the #2 best seller is such a bad spot to be.  And what's the significance of losing to Hayate in particular? |

| I'd imagine the significance is that fans are getting tired of moe and fan-service, and want series which make them laugh again. And these ranks probably do matter to Japanese publishers. |
