| Am I the only one who noticed the obviously shippy moment at the beginning of the strip? How come no one has written anything aobut that yet? Protip: look for the hearts. |

Nina's always running over to Kevin's place. When will he get a full blown unwanted harem? |

| Nice poke at people who aren't aware of how the world really works. At the end, Nina showed it all comes down to money. And I found it interesting how PayPal has become a verb. (^_*) |

I wonder if the $14 line is a hint at how old the letter writer is. |

Well, well.
After last week's **** & pet torture joke Nina's panel now kindly mocks the fanbase ie. the customers of ANN and Owners.
Hopefully no one reads it |

Maybe next week it'll be about humorless anime fans who spend their time complaining about webcomics! |

Just those stupid enough to think they can make their own "animes" by emailing people who don't actually work in the "making animes" business.
Also, since when has ANN had customers? I am unaware of any product or service I can purchase from ANN... |

I'm still waiting on Answer Cat plushies. (Did that prototype someone swiped at a con ever re-emerge?)
Personally, I think anyone who writes those kinds of letters should be mocked. It's one thing to write fanfic or whatever, it's a whole other ball game to expect to just write a letter to someone in Japan and get your idea made into anime. (And seriously, $14 isn't enough, whether it's a bribe or an attempt to pay part of the production costs.)
If you have a really good idea (and some actual early-stage production materials to be considered like detailed scripts) then save some money and hire a professional to make a short trailer based on your idea and use that to pitch your great vision to the corporates. At the very least consider an agent or something.
There are ways to legitimately go about getting an idea made into a show. Sending a letter to someone who isn't even part of the production structure asking for contact information isn't one of them. |

Rather than alluding to or parodying a few of the Answerman letters, I believe that actually was one of them...
It would be months or a couple of years back, but I seem to remember that a little more clearly than a reference. It's shortened, but it is really familiar. |

Actually, ANN has a subscription service. You can find it in the My Anime tab. (Just pointing it out...) |

The "fan supported anime production letters" as well as the "manga cows" get abusively bashed in the Answerman column already. There's absolutely no need to give this flaming a continuation in the comic. It's tiresome, redundant, and hypocrite, given the criticism of anime forum flame wars claimed every here and there on ANN. |

The comic is making fun of imbeciles. If you're an imbecile, you should be made fun of. If you aren't, you shouldn't be offended.
Go back to 4chan with your anti-ANN absurdity. |

| After all these weeks Nina has yet to go to an onsen, public bath, or to the beach. Not a panty flash nor scenes of gratuitous nudity in sight. And is anyone else tired of waiting for the obligatory loli character to be introduced? |
