I think I'm getting kinda confused...

Oh, but what about the scene that followed up after that? When scary looking adult Rika confronts a young Takano. To me, that showed that things aren't quite over.

From what I've heard that wasn't Rika, it was a character from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni named Frederika Bernkastle or something like that. |

I had gathered it too from those familiar with the games about the name of that character. Until Higurashi goes into action again I'll call this new character what I can associate her with.
What if it doesn't end at the OVA? It sounds like more can be done with the series. I fear that things can go into ruin. |

This is kinda disappointing, an OVA means they won't be able to get to the three PS2 chapters, which are the real conclusion to the series(hence why it comes with all the main chapters but Matsuribayashi-hen).
Oh well, there goes my hopes of another full length quality season. Bring on the fan service, I suppose. |
