| Please Funimation, don't license season 2!!! I'm begging you guys, don't produce anymore horrid dubs. If your going to license it for the states than just release a subbed version with *ACCURATE* translations,by Steve "Daimao" Simmons, like Animeigo did. |

| Guess I'm the only one who liked the second series then. Good going Funi. |

Off the top of my head the silhouette could be Asuna Kagurazaki from Negima, just the second version of it as opposed to the original version. |
It's actually straight from the promotional poster for Gunslinger 2, which you can see in the encyclopedia entry. |

Psh. How absurd. I'll grant you there are two lines, (TWO) in that whole show where the dub changed the meaning of the sub significantly, but even then it wasn't shatteringly awful editing by any stretch of the imagination. Funimation's dub on this show was fantastic, despite the show being pretty low-profile, and I say go ahead with another great dub of the second series. |

Okay, then, go ahead with another great dub of the crappy second series. I'll still buy it because regardless of budget, atmosphere, and moe character design, I hear that the story was kept fairly intact. |

Even Shakespeare can be a chore to watch if performed by a hack drama troupe.
I watched about 3 episodes of this before I could stand no more: The limited animation and budget shortcuts, plus terrible DIRECTION (uneven editing, pacing, action also was blocked really poorly IMO)... it left a horrible taste in my mouth and instead of reminding me about what I enjoyed about season 1, it was just painful to watch: I kept hoping the "the next episode will be better"... but after 3 I could take no more.
We're talking stills with shaking pans and background noise to depict "riots" and nearly flintstone-esque background looping during car chases, and that's just in episode 1.
Funimation better sell this one in a 13 episode box set because otherwise they'll never sell a copy of volume 2. |

| I've seen like half of the first series, which is fun and interesting and what not, but the sequel was awful. They moe-fied everything and it's just utter trash. Really not worth wasting time or money on unless you desperately need more GSG. |

I certainly hope Funi uses the same VAs as the original series. I can put up with the new art style, but I can't stand it when they switch VAs. |
I'm pretty sure that they will, but the only concern I have is that will FUNi be able to bring Laura Bailey back to reprise her role as Henrietta. Didn't she relocate to L.A. recently?
In any event, I'm definitely picking this up when it becomes available . |

What the crap are you talking about?? GSG was one of the best dubbing jobs Funi's ever done.
| Quote: | | Not to rain on anyone's parade here, but the second season was just horrid. They switched studios and had like half the budget for some reason =/ Didn't have any of the dark ambiance and smooth flow that the first season did. |
I thought the second season was supposed to be darker and follow the manga more closely? |

Just do as I said in the opening post. |
If I knew how I would, but as I don't care enough to learn how nor am I certain my comp even has the software I think I'll leave it. |

I hope this isn't all the licensing announcements that FUNimation has in store for the year. I still want to hear more announcements at AX. |

Yet, still no word on Ouran or Darker than Black? |
you're going too much for art and not story then....its exactly the same as the manga with different art...the story is just as good as ever and the art is bearable |

Add me to those who want to see this series. I've enjoyed the manga, so far, so I think that I'll enjoy this.
At least I'll certainly give it a darn good chance! |
