R.I.P. Sorry to hear that for someone so young. Viz should put a tribute to her in the credits on the dvds.

How tragic. Sad And she was so young!

I loved the creativity of the Honey & Clover opening; she was obviously a talented and artistic person and it's sad she won't get to put any more of her novel work out there.

May she rest in peace, and condolences to her family and friends.

Loved her Sister Sisters video. I didn't know she directed the Honey and Clover Opening. She'll definitely be missed.

Wow, that's really sad. Not only was she talented, but she was so young, too. A real tragedy.

I remember the first time I saw the H&C opening, and being genuinely surprised (I jumped back in my chair, almost causing it to fall over) at the part at the end where the food comes to life and snarls. RIP.

H&C's opening was the most creative opening I've ever seen. It's tragic that we've lost someone with so much beautiful talent.

This is such a shame... Another young life gone so swiftly...

This past year has been so horrible for the manga / anime industry! So many young lives lost!

She will be sorely missed! I am a huge fan of her Honey and Clover work and loved Sister Sister as well...

She didn't deserve such a young death. Make she rest in peace. She will be remembered though, through her works. Her legacy.

That was so sad. But today we lost so many Japanese people who died at a very young age. May she rest in peace.
