ABOUT TIME, FUNI. Do it justice, *please*. I'm willing to wait another year for it if you do it right.

And good news about Ouran, as well.

Ah ha! Finally some announcement. Been wanting this ever since the C&D letter stopped the fansubbing. Can't wait, even if it will almost a year until the first release.

A little late to the game on these two if you ask me. They should have struck while the iron was still hot. 2 years for a show like Ouran is 2 years too long. It was massively popular as it was airing, but now I'm not sure that it'll make much money for them.

Well, we don't know what may or may not have gone on with any of these. It's not like the anime companies can dictate "give us a license" and then they get it right away.

I mean, apparently they said there has been an 8 months delay just getting the materials for Darker than Black from the Japanese. I mean, there isn't a heck of a lot Funimation can do about things like that.

LOL, okay, so we got a date for the announcement of the release date for Ouran. Thank god. Don't know why they couldn't just do that now... but whatever.

And wow, two huge licenses for Funi with RXJ and D-Gray. Don't know if I'll buy them, but I'm definitely interested in renting. Nice going.

I was getting kind of worried about Ouran there. Well, I hope it gets released sooner rather than later. I wonder if they are going to do a boxset on that one. Heck if they were releasing the singles a year ago then it would be about time for a box now. Argh, I am being pessimistic, I am just glad it is going to be coming out.

Yes, I'd be all for a very pretty boxset for that series. Funi does seem to specialize in the fancy artboxes, like with Basilisk, Trinity Blood, and Beck.

Well I understand that there are alot of reasons why these things can be backed up, but its a money loss for the R1 compnanies when they do, especially with the quick pace at which an anime title will lose popularity after the fansub watchers have all seen it.

sorry about the multiple posts there. my internet was being stupid.

Wait, D. Gray-man? When did this happen?

And, yes, thank god for Ouran, finally!

I was thinking the same thing, but was going to let it pass lol.

I don't think it has been licensed. Confusion with Darker than Black maybe? People thought they might license D. Gray back when they announced Claymore...

Funimation also confirmed that the release date for Ouran High School Host Club will be revealed during a special event on May 30.

It's about bloody time. They need to stop screwing around and let us buy it already!

Romeo x Juliet? Who DIDN'T see this coming? But good! I'm glad it's happening! Looks like FUNimation is picking up the ball that everybody else dropped.
