| Lookalike? That's practically an exact copy with differences in the color of her outfit and facial expression. | |||

Also, I like the original Haruhi best. |

| heh, fun advertising on the original story website - includes Amazon and YouTube of all places among several others.
Anyways, I couldnt find this for sale anywhere in their catalog - did someone see it on their website or their distribution lists? Makes me wonder if this is actually a counterfiet product being produced. |

| That image creeps me out a bit, nothing matches the original. I'm pretty sure, a lawsuit will come of this, and that those waffles, or at least the packaging will probably become a sort of collectable for Haruhi fanatics. |

Not just Old Boy. I lived in India for a while and I was very, very amused by how many Bollywood movies were basically Indian musical versions of Hollywood movies that came out a year ago. (Not that they're all like that, of course, but there was a surprisingly high number.) As for the actual news story...the image cracks me up. |

| I find this quite pathetic... What's going to be next? Lucky Star underwear? | |||

| So yeah, this makes the news but Yoko Kanno ripping off dozens of artists doesn't.
Big deal, so they liked the image. I'm not saying that what they did was a good thing but let's not blow this out of proportions. Also, the fact that the Japanese side couldn't tell the difference between Russia and Belorus is a lot more offensive, imo. |

It's not about offensiveness, it's about legality. |
