Use of the word "fanny" automatically puts my mental image of the reviewer around the mid-late 60's.

Not that I disagree with what he has to say, mind.

I lol'd, because the word 'fanny' has a completely different meaning in Australia. I'd nearly forgotten.

Yeah, same meaning here in the UK. Caused me an amusing moment of perplexity too.

Anyway, this review read very even-handedly, and I liked the rhetorical question device at the beginning.

I looked up the overseas meaning of 'fanny' on wiki. Anime hyper Weird how they're almost the opposite of each other. Then again, I've heard a certain name for [the one in front] on Squidbillies that might explain things. >.>; I'm not sure it bears repeating...

I have to ask the reviewer (Carl) - did you not know what the word "fanny" means in half the English speaking countries out there? I wasn't offended with your word choice, just surprised.

Laughing fanny is an odd choice, considering it's meaning in the UK... xD
