I read the first chapter of the manga. It looks pretty good; it has a Devil May Cry sort of feeling. Gainax can do something really special with this if they set the mood right.
Thoughts: -This will almost certainly be a BS-i show, as it looks too gruesome to be shown on regular television. -Prepare for a lot of those annoying "oppai boing" sound effects. -There were, in fact, no panty shots (that I can remember) in the manga, but the angles often came as close as possible without actually doing so. Will Gainax add in their own pantsu or leave it as in the manga? -I think orchestral Elfen Lied-ish music would work best for this, but I'm guessing it's going to be rock-based. |
