Eh... since when are made-for-TV movies any good? I think this was to be expected.

I recall watching part of a made-for-TV live-action BlackJack movie when I was in Japan and it had a very cheesy "shot-on-video" look to it, too.

I've got to ask, what did I just watch? I'll admit, the Ranma and Genma bathtub slap fast was hilarious, but also a bit odd as well.

I mean, it didn't look as bad as it could have, but it's certainly not something I'd watch. Even though I really like Ranma 1/2 and would really enjoy seeing anything Ranma 1/2 related.

I will say this though, the water slap fight was easily the best part of that clip, but also the most unexpected part as well. Then again, Ranma 1/2 was a pretty off the wall show, so I suppose it does fit.

Well, it doesn't look like the worst live-action anime/manga adaptation I've seen. I am kind of liking the panda costume though, in a silly way.

What happened to Ranma's braid?

Well, it has Dr. Tofu! And Kasumi (the oldest sister) looks very well-cast. Akane seems...too pretty, and female!Ranma not pretty enough, but I want to see it all anyway!
