| Mayu Shinjo is one of my favorite manga artists, and I will support her no matter what her decisions are regarding her publishers or her work breaks. I appreciate all her hard work, but with that said I hope that these issues in her professional life get resolved as quickly and painlessly for her as possible so she can find a new place to make more sexy time manga, hee. |

Now, if she were an ugly girl, it wouldn't matter right? ¬_¬

And of course, if she were American, the publisher would still be a dick but she herself would be a talentless hack... -_-# |

Hmm, I've met many female manga editors and even interviewed some. However, I do agree that it would be rather unimaginable for Japanese females calling others "maggots." |
I dunno, when I worked in Japan the Japanese staff manager was notorious for her harshness. Pretty much everyone in the region knew of her. Women can be amazingly cruel, especially to each other. I can see the editor as being female just as easily as being male. |

Well, they have some competition, to say the very least. |

| I didn't realize that manga and the comic industry are harsh to their artists. Don't they realize that without them, they have nothing? |

As long as there is a large pool of talented amateurs trying to break into the industry, they'll have no shortage of artists. There are countless doujin-ka with just as much talent as published artists, just waiting to get noticed by someone in the industry. |
