*sigh* What I said was I can't understand it, not that I hate it, not that I think other people should hate it. In fact I didn't talk about anyone other than myself in that sentence at all. Here's further clarification of my sentence ... Most of the girls I've known who were into it were also heterosexual. I have trouble understanding what it is about the situation that appeals to them, if they like boy on girl action, why does boy on boy turn them on? It is a question, not a statement, not a judgement call.
I also don't understand why exactly E=mc2, how people get those big ass ships into little bottles, and why someone would want to learn Klingon. I'm pretty sure none of the people who do those things gives a crap about whether I'm confused by the issue (except the Klingons, they might want to kick my ass).
Does yaoi happen? Yes.
Do people like it? Yes.
Do I get it? No.
Why do you assume that I'm "bothered" by it, and insinuate that I'm being somehow judgemental by just saying I don't get it.
Anyways, I'm not trying to turn this into a whole new Kodomo-no-F-ing-Jikan-type discussion and I'm sorry for going off-topic, I just got a trifle annoyed and wanted to clarify my statement.
Now I'm done and I won't revisit the topic again. Sorry mods. |
