Super sweet!

I'll be looking forward to both of Gainax's new projects. I can't wait to see how they turn out!

This sounds like it has some odd similarities with "A Certain Magical Index." I hope this manages to be more interesting (and narratively cohesive), though given that it's Gainax, I think we're in good hands.

I'll be looking forward to both this and the ludicrously entertaining-looking Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

I had a feeling when this was announced that this was the "Gainax in England" show. Now I don't have to worry about this being another Rie Kugimiya loli-tsundere show.

Anyone have a bigger image of the scan? The one AN has is a 404.

I myself can scarcely believe that the scan is relevant to the series being produced.

The male character it depicts is not wearing a hat.

Unless 1920s fashion has been overlooked for the sake of contemporary appeal, this strikes me as an extremely unorthodox character design for such a period. Either that, or the character is being shown in his "indoor attire".
