Personally, I'm much more interested in hearing what FUNi has to say about Claymore. They announced its acquisition five months ago (farther back than OHSHC or Gurren Lagann) but haven't said a word since about casting or release dates.
And given that most of the North American-based ANN staff (minus me, unfortunately) is going to be there, you can probably rest assured that the coverage will be prompt and thorough. |

Funimation's the company I'm looking to hear good news from. They're doing more to adapt to the changing market while still putting out product that an English dub fan like me can enjoy. (Not to mention some cool merchandising. So getting the plushie Rico to go with my Henrietta.)
And I'm looking to hear how bad ADV's situation is. (I expect the death certificate has finally been prepared. ) |

As usual Anime Expo forgets to give Media Blasters a panel. I think this is the 3rd or 4th time.
I know they have one title to announce at least. |

Absolutely. I tried so hard to avoid watching this fansubbed, but the tournament made me do it... But I'm still excited to hear Gurren Lagann's voice cast. |

Uh, Ouran was announced about a year ago (at Expo '07, I believe) beating Claymore by more than double. |

I understand the let your wallet do the talking mentality, believe me. The only sub-only dvds I have bought from any companies recently have been the Imaginasian Classics and Emma. Had too. It's not like I don't want some of the other series either, like Simon for instance. But I do take it that if they do come out with a dubbed anime you will be happy, yes? You punish a child when they do something wrong, but reward them when they do something right, yes? Somehow I am not getting that feeling from you.
If you want to know my reasoning as to why I think they will at least make one announcement of a license that will also get a dub. It is simple, I am thinking they will proabably dub only one anime a year. And The Third just finished up. So it's about time in my book. Especially if they are going to make multiple announcements this year. Which it sounds like they will. |

| I'm calling it right now: In follow-up of the surprising announcement of them licensing Ookiku Furikabutte I predict Funimation will announce that they've licensed Reborn! as well. |

Well it looks like I will be eating my own foot now. I am not as flexable as I used to be, I will need help. Where's Richard? I will need some help stuffing it in.
Needless to say I am disappointed. I really like their productions. Oh well, I am sure some people are happy. |
