Huh. Looks like I'm the only person uninterested in any of those titles. Lucky me, I guess.

Still, omen all around.

Wow, guess I should buy Kanon v.5 while I can... and hope to some superior being that ADV can get their collective heads out of their asses and actually start telling their prospective buyers what the hell is going on over there... Sad

keep in mind they might be bound by contract not to tell anyone.

Umm, ADV? You do not drop out of a series while releasing THE LAST DISC. Stop failing so much and give me my UGUU.

I'm sure you will get refund. I suspect ADV will file chapter 15 soon. Rolling Eyes

Then again they just might put all them out as a complete box set and make you re-purchase what you already have in order to get the ones you don't, like they're doing here in the UK. Nice one.

No, this is not fair what's happening. I'm currently collection Kanon and I only have five out of six volumes complete. Just one more volume until the complete and now this news really upset me. I was really looking forward to see the last volume. This is so disappointing: first of all, the second and third volume of Kanon were delayed for a long time and now the last one as well. Crying or Very sad

I hope to see good news from ADV flims soon exactly when they're going to sell the last volume of Kanon and I hope it's soon.

I will be stopping by my local Best Buy tonight and grabbing Vol 5 of NHK. I saw it on the shelves on Tuesday, but didn't grab it. After hearing all of this, I'm picking it up tonight.

Bad omen indeed. However, i guess i'm another lucky one since i never got around to getting these series and never was really interested in them in the first place.

The update about these titles not appearing on ADV's online store would be more meaningful if we knew that the titles ever had appeared there, or that they had appeared there since the kerfluffle this past new year's. Since that time, for example, the Ah My Goddess (season 2) titles have not appeared there, even though they subsequently shipped volumes 5 and 6.

I'm in despair! The thought of not completing my collections of Welcome to the NHK and Kanon has me in despair!

I hope this can be resolved and releases can continue in the not too distant future.

they just said at AX that they had a fallout with the Japanese companies, thus ends the mystery of the vanishing titles. also it looks they may not be announcing anything tomorrow.
