I expected Viz (though considering their unstable DVD releases of anything that's not Naruto/Bleach/Death Note, that's probably a good thing). But really, Bandai would be one of the last companies I'd expect to license Hayate.

Same here. Bandai getting the butler-in-debt was very unexpected, but very cool nonetheless Cool .

So, Bandai got Hayate? Hmm. I like Bandai, but FUNi's prices and their recent strategy towards boxsets had me hoping that they would get it. On the other hand, Bandai is releasing the first 10 episodes of Code Geass in a boxset (along with singles), and they may do the same with the 52-episode Hayate no Gotoku. I hope Bandai doesn't charge too much.

I was just hoping anyone other than Viz would get this. Hell yeah, unless ef or Clannad get announced, Bandai just won the con in terms of new licenses (though Gakuen Alice was definitely nice).

Thank you Jesus for not letting Viz get their filthy hands on Hayate no Gotoku.

With that said, thank you Bandai. I love you.

Also bring on the special editions please, i'll buy everyone of them.

So, now that there's going to be two different versions of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time manga out in the market . . . anyone know which is the better one? Or is it too soon? Surprised

Bandai's got Hayate huh? Hm, interesting.

Okay! Time to predict VAs people! (Maybe) Say, what are the chances that Hayate will actually be played by a guy? Hopefully it will be a girl, cause I just have a hard time thinking of that outcome actually...

I am really happy that Bandai got Hayate no Gotoku! Very Happy They were actually the main company that I wanted to license it. I hope that they release special editions of it and that they get the character albums too. I would really like to have all of the Hayate no Gotoku! character albums. I already have all of the Haruhi character albums that Bandai released and I am collecting the Lucky Star character albums as well. If Bandai releases the Hayate character albums I will get those too. Wink This AX is making me one happy girl!
