The question I ask is: When will we see anything past season one of When They Cry here in the land of R1 DVDs? I need more mind-screwing murder with cuties and I'd rather get the legal variety.
Hinamizawa is like Japan's Silent Hill (or visa versa, they are both awesomely freakish places to live) and I need more on my shelves, especially now that Funimation will help me to finish filling my first season box. Come on you necromantically animated corpse of Geneon, give us some more cicada song in the R1. |

I saw it coming, but not this fast. =/
Given how much I liked When They Cry, I'll definitely be checking this one out when it airs. |

Oooh, this is exciting.
I can't wait to see this, since I haven't been keeping up with the Umineko series.
I also must have missed the news about Higurashi's manga being licensed because, dang, that's exciting.
=3 It's a good year for Higurashi. |

Wow, I too am surprised that they're announcing this so quickly with only two games currently out (first game is free and available on the game creator's website for anyone who's interested. ) But who knows, maybe this time they'll give more screen time to each arc.
Did anyone by chance see the live action Higurashi movie (the real one)? How was it? |

| Not surprising, but damn am I looking forward to it. I definitely loved the second season of Higurashi (very different from the first), but I'm craving some of more of the suspense and mystery of the first season, which this is more like. |
