Crying or Very sad Such a shame he was a great voice actor and he voiced in allot of my fave Animes. I will never forget his Performence in Full Metal Panic.

They had a very nice write-up on Mike -

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5892227.html

I never knew him well, but he was a really sweet guy who will be sorely missed by the whole Houston acting community as well as the world-wide anime community.

Mike had a stroke a few years ago, but was able to make a full recovery and get back into voice acting in a fairly short while. He ran his own pool company, so he always looked like a surfer dude with that deeply tanned skin and laid-back attitude.

Wishing you peace, Mike.

I'm aware that I'm posting this quite late, but I was not aware how many fans my dad had. I too miss him but he lived a full life and simply died because he was giving up. I think the first time I ever saw his work I was around 8. He would always be so proud when he got a job and would spend hours practicing and creating a character with his voice, he would even let me and my brothers read the script. His favorite occupation was being the villian, and he would have so much fun with it. Well I didn't have too much purpose here other then saying "thank you" to everyone. and if the forum would like, I'm sure we have a picture of him around somewhere. So one last time, Thank You
