| YES! This makes me extremely happy! LOL Much happier than if Nitta was just the guest. I like Nase better. That is the author of the legendary, cracktastic, Chintsubu manga! Talking Penises FTW... |

Awww, don't stone me but I rejoice at Nase-chin coming to replace Nitta's cancellation. I crazily love her infamous Chintsubu. Never have read such a piece and probably never will find another that crazy yet weirdly brilliant.
She looks so fun when you read her comments in the manga. Just makes you wonder what she's smoking while drawing it. But she's just too cute. |

| I'm quite sad about losing Youka Nitta, especially in such a harsh way, but I do think Yamato Nase is a good substitute. She's fairly popular herself, and I think Yaoi-Con made a good call in inviting her. Too bad I can't go this year! Here's hoping Yamato Nase will have a new Chintsubu doujinshi at Comiket; it'll ease the pain of not seeing her at Y-Con. |

I am ecstatically happy too! I was teetering on the fence about going to Yaoi-con this year (I spent over $500+ at AX) but this decided it. I have pretty much decided that I if I am not able to take off that weekend I will just call in sick. Let's see . . . flights and hotels . . .
*sighs* I wonder if my bank account can handle this |

Not that I'll get to go to Yaoi-Con (just as well-- I'd probably pass out from glee upon entering the merchandise room), but I have to say that Chintsubu is one of my favorites. I've never laughed so hard at just the manga-ka's afternotes & comments alone. And for such a silly concept, I thought it was actually a very sweet & touching story. I'd really love to see this series get licensed. Maybe it will be, if she's going to be featured this year now... *crosses fingers*
And... I'm trying to imagine what "chinko cosplay" would entail-- like, cosplayers walking around with their zippers down, or do you mean giant, walking-- |
