Don't worry, it won't spoil the good end of Matsuribayashi-hen, which could have been better, in my opinion.

I'm not really "expecting" a US release for Kai, but one can always hope, and plead. I like Kai a bit more than the original Higurashi (Half of it's because Hanyuu's in the Kai arc, the other half is because the Meakashi arc scares the crap out of me.)

I asked because the article implied that only one of the arcs will feature a heroine from the original series. I hope it's Rika - I'm still curious about what happened in the last episode of Kai.
