Evangelion is the best anime ever created as far as I'm concerned. I'm 44 and have seen just about all there is to see. I like the work that Bones has been putting out lately. But I still believe Eva is the best. I saw the first 2 episodes of GL tonight and I don't get the hype, however I will stick with it and if I change my mind as to this issue, I'll post it happy anime watching to all. |

It's a good series, but honestly, I don't see it as being as amazing as people think or claim. And some of the praise in this interview even seems unwarranted. I mean, it's not like this is the first series to balance comedy and serious elements very well, even doing so in a single episode. I'd actually say that's a pretty common thing to do, generally with varying degrees of success. |
What I meant by 'No one cares.' was that the people who enjoy the show and who will inevitably watch and enjoy more of said show do not care if others think it's being 'milked'. From past experience, in an area where you hear fan feedback of any medium, the negative outcry is always the loudest, whereas the people who are happy with it usually feel less need to comment. So, in this happy thread announcing more of what we all love, please keep your collective negativity and doom-sayings to a minimum and let us enjoy our good news. Thanks. (this last part is not targeted at you, Keonyn, but generally)
PS> Thanks to Onsokumaru for so subtly pointing out my spelling error. That's why I normally proofread before I hit 'Submit'.

Not that I'm trying to change your mind, but Bandai clarified a while back that both the sub-only and the bilingual will have the uncen episode 6. Only the broadcast will be the cen version. |

Agreed. It wasn't terrible. I thought Michelle Ruff and Yuri Lowenthal were sufficient. Loved Steven Blum as Leeron.
Kyle Hebert doesn't quite fit Kamina. Both voice and acting. Needs more raving lunatic. |

| as far as episode 6 goes I don't know how they will censor it because scifi always had a strange way of censoring anime. Instead of cutting out scenes the usually just cover them up. But yes I'm waiting for the dub+sub. |

Hmmmm I may still hold out for the dub release, I'm hoping they'll have some special goodies and extras for the people that waited |

A(n epic) plot would've ruined DL ... maybe the series isn't as good as Bamboo lead us to believe. |

Ahhh, I just finished the series on SCI FI, and this:
| Quote: | | Yamaga: We hope to be working on Gurren Lagann for the next decade. This work we know as Gurren Lagann will continue. |
is the best thing I've heard all day. |
