| I'd love to see Momotaro - Umi no Shinpei. John Dower talks about it quite a bit in his book War Without Mercy (about the entrenched racism that existed on both sides durring the war). |

| Yes, it would be interesting to see. I wonder if there are any museums that might have anime from that era, as well. |

| I saw some of Momotaro in a Japanese pop culture class I took years ago in college. Very interesting. I forget where the teacher got a copy. |

| I heard that there was a Japanese VHS release of Momorato in the 1980s, though as far as I know, there's no DVD edition yet. I really wish someone would do such a release - would be a nice addition to the "Anime Classics Collection" that Digital Meme put out last year. |

| I saw this one thanks to Japan Foundation way back in 2006. Its pretty good. LEts hope to see it someday in DVD as the already mentioned classics from Digital Meme. |
