What are you talking about?! I was there, the performances were great, winners from conventions in each of their own countries. Some countries like Brazil, China and Italy even had regional rounds before the final preliminaries. Check out info on the judges on the home page here. They had 4 main judges and about 10 judges that they chose from the audience before everything started. If you think its "rigged to hell" maybe you should take that up with the judges Yumiko Igarashi and Rika Matsumoto who are well respected manga-ka and seiyu in their own right. What allegations of what "teams of people" are you talking about? Kind of a broad vague lashing out at life itself. Bizzare. |

Well, I am not Latin American, but I understand it, hermanos Oh, and the Spanish delegation holds not "regional qualification", they are just voted in the biggest manga & anime con, every November. I think it's too soon. But anyway, the Spanish team has never been real contenders. |
